The core idea of starting mental health lab is to provide exposure and orient the nursing students about mental health assessment theories related to personality development and acquaint them with concept of mental health & illness. The lab is equipped with various models including ‘eight parts brain model’ charts and psychodynamic assessment tools viz.Rorschach test, Bhatia battery, TAT etc. The lab is also used for psychosocial counseling of the students who are in need.

The lab has the provision for Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE)
