ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CHOITHRAM COLLEGE OF NURSING

The Alumni Association plays a pivotal role in fostering strong ties between the institution and its graduates. Registered in 2017 under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Act 1973 (Registration No. 03/27/01/19/848/17, dated 21/06/2017), based at 14, Manik Bagh Road, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Its area of operation extends across the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. The association was created to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experience, and opportunities among alumni, faculty, and students.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIETY ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • To promote and encourage friendly relations between the members of the association.
  • To create a spirit of cooperation amongst the members.
  • To promote and safeguard the interest of the association and its members.
  • To invest the money and manage the properties of the association in such a manner as may be determined by the association with the consent of the president.
  • To frame, form, alter, revoke, re-enact, the rules from time to time towards the interest of the association.
  • To arrange meetings/conferences/activities/cultural functions/foreign trips for visiting educational institutions for the upliftment of the association and its members.
  • To provide scholarship and rewards to help the poor and needy students of the college.

BASED ON THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHOITHRAM COLLEGE OF NURSING ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, THE FOLLOWING ACTVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT:

    - Engage alumni in volunteering opportunities to support local healthcare initiatives.

  • Scholarship Programs:
  • - Establish scholarships and financial aid for underprivileged students of the college.

    - Create an award system to recognize outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.

  • Resource Management:
  • Invest and manage funds wisely with the consent of the president to ensure long-term sustainability.

  • Policy Development and Governance:
  • - Regularly review and update the association's rules and regulations to align with its evolving needs.

    - Involve members in decision-making processes through consultations and meetings.

These activities help the association to achieve its objectives, support the professional growth of its members, and contribute to the welfare of the community. Alumni have made significant contributions to the institution in various ways. They regularly participate in expert lectures, where seasoned professionals impart valuable insights to current students, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.

Alumni also enrich the college library by donating books, providing essential resources for students' academic pursuits. Furthermore, they play a crucial role in helping students secure job placements by connecting them with potential employers, thus aiding in the launch of their professional careers.
