Program Outcome for M Sc (N) Program

Aim of M. Sc. (N) Program :

  1. To develop advanced clinical knowledge and specialized skills in nursing practice, enabling graduates to provide high-quality, evidence-based care and to lead clinical practice in their area of specialization.
  2. To prepare graduates for leadership roles in nursing by enhancing their skills in research, administration, and policy-making, and to contribute to the advancement of nursing science and practice through research and evidence-based initiatives.

Program Outcomes of M. Sc. Nursing 2 years Post Graduate Degree- After completing the program students will be able

PO1:To possess the advanced & specialized knowledge required to lead and innovate in their areas of specialization using a deep understanding of theories and research to drive high-quality patient care and practice

PO2:To explain and interpret complex clinical scenarios and research findings to inform advanced nursing practice and decision-making in their area of specialization.

PO3:To apply their specialized knowledge to develop and implement advanced clinical practices, policies, and programs those are grounded in theoretical and empirical evidence.

PO4:To analyze complex patient data and clinical research to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and develop evidence-based interventions to improve patient care and clinical practice.

PO5:To integrate information from clinical research, theoretical frameworks, and patient data to create and implement innovative, evidence-based care strategies that address complex health issues and improve patient outcomes.

PO6:To critically evaluate the effectiveness of advanced nursing interventions and clinical practices by analyzing patient outcomes, utilizing quality improvement methods, and making evidence-based recommendations for practice enhancement.

PO7:To analyze complex clinical problems by systematically assessing patient data, identifying underlying issues, and developing evidence-based strategies to address and resolve these issues effectively.

PO8:To conduct comprehensive analysis of complex clinical situations by integrating multifaceted patient data advanced diagnostic tools, and current research to develop and implement effective, patient-centered care plans.

PO9:To lead and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address complex patient needs and promote optimal health outcomes.

PO10:To utilize advanced communication skills to effectively convey complex clinical information, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and engage with patients and their families to enhance care and support informed decision-making.

PO11:Ethics- apply ethical principles and professional standards to complex clinical situations, ensuring that care decisions and practices uphold the highest standards of integrity, respect, and patient advocacy.

PO12:Lifelong Learning- demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning by actively engaging in ongoing professional development, pursuing advanced certifications, and integrating emerging research and best practices into their nursing practice.
